Welcome to YogaVenue

We are Oxford’s only purpose built Yoga studio offering classes in Hot Yoga, Hot Power Yoga, Vinyasa YogaYogalates, the Barre Concept and Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga just 10 minutes from the historic centre of Oxford at the beginning of Cowley Road in East Oxford.

We have classes throughout the day and are open 7 days a week. Please check our class schedule for further information.   

Upcoming Workshops

Fly Class with Alessandro: Sat 27th September, 2pm – 4pm 

Once a month, this advanced class will take us on the journey towards flight, being light and balanced while on our hands in arm balances and inversions. Expect the class to work towards them with Pranayama, core work and a flow to take be taken all the way through.

What is Yoga? with Dr Noelle Lopez: Sat 4th October, 2pm – 4pm 

In this workshop we will diver into Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, one of the foundational texts in Yogic Philosophy. We will look at different ways that Patanjali has been translated and interpreted and discuss these, perhaps finding our own answers to the questions. What is the nature of Yoga? What is involved in practising Yoga, What does the Yogi ultimately seek? This workshop is suitable for all levels.

Hot Yoga Advanced Class with Katherine: Sat 11th October, 2pm – 4pm

In this 2 hour class we will aim to cover the 84 asanas sequence devised by Bishnu Ghosh and taught by Bikram Choudhury.This will be a challenging class physically and emotionally and not suitable for beginners, if you have injuries or have no Hot Yoga experience.Please talk to a Hot Yoga teacher before signing up to this class.

Introduction to Yin Yoga with Kathy S: Sat 18th October, 2pm – 4pm

This workshop is designed to work deep into the muscles and connective tissue to increase flexibility and joint mobility. We will stretch from head to toe while finding a bit of focus, patience and release in the mind as well as the body. This type of yoga is geared towards all students, athletes (runners and cyclists we mean you!) that want to find more flexibility to beginners who have never put a foot on the yoga mat!Suitable for all levels.
